Who are we?
BCC can best be described as a living, breathing body in which the congregants actively live the Word. For more than 100 years the Briarcliff Congregational Church has been a center of Christian learning, ideas and ideals. We are a liturgical church that is home to people from dozens of diverse backgrounds and denominations all uniting under the banner of the United Church of Christ. As heirs of the pilgrim tradition, we are self governing and democratic in style. It is this open environment that offers us the freedom to respond to God’s invitation to become the persons God calls us each to be.

Simply stated, we have no required creed, but rather a statement of faith:

We believe in God, the Creator of all humankind. We believe in Jesus Christ, who comes to reconcile the world by the power of love. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who comforts, empowers, and guides.

Verse of The Day - Comes from the NIV Bible
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
  Psalms 23:4
